(Estherville)--The schedule has been announced for Memorial Day activities on Monday, May 25th in Estherville.
The day will begin with a flag raising ceremony at 8 a.m. at the Estherville VFW followed by services at local cemeteries conducted by an honor guard made-up of members of the Iowa National Guard, VFW Post 3388 and American Legion Post 91.
The cemetery services will be held at 8:20 a.m. at East Side Cemetery; 8:40 a.m. at Lutheran and East Side Memorial Cemetery; 9:00 at Oak Hill Cemetery; 9:35 a.m. at the Central Ave. Bridge,
9:45 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, 10:05 at Wallingford Cemetery, 10:30 a.m. at High Lake Cemetery, and 11:15 am at Swan Lake Cemetery.
The flag dedication ceremony will be held at 11:45 am at the National Guard Readiness Center in Estherville.
