Two People Sent to Hospital After Car-Semi Accident Near Heron Lake

(Heron Lake, MN)--Two people were sent to the hospital after a car-semi accident Tuesday in Jackson County.

 

The Minnesota State Patrol says the accident happened just before 2 pm at the intersection of Highway 60 and 390th Avenue near Heron Lake. The patrol says a 2023 Chevrolet Malibu driven by 62-year-old Dawn Eigenberg of Windom was making a turn off of westbound Highway 60 onto 390th avenue and a 2025 International Semi driven by 37-year-old Marvin Deneffe of Le Center, Minn was traveling eastbound. The two vehicles collided in the eastbound lane.

 

Both drivers sustained non-life threatening injuries and were taken to the Windom Hospital.

 

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office and Heron Lake Fire and EMS assisted at the scene.
