(Spencer)--An event occurred Friday at Spencer Hospital that required the hospital to temporarily modify emergency services. According to a Facebook post, throughout the event, the Emergency Department remained open and continued providing care to patients and the community.  

The Emergency Department has resumed normal operations. Officials want to assure the  community that the safety and well-being of patients and staff remain the hospital's highest priority.
