(Graettinger)—Graettinger was one of the hardest hits communities during Sunday’s nights severe weather. Palo Alto County Emergency Management Director Kayla Hagen surveyed the damage this morning.
One person was injured during the storm. Also a tree fell on a house and a garage was knocked off its foundation. Hagen says she doesn’t know yet if the damage was caused by a tornado. She is sending damage reports to the National Weather Service. Hagen says damage was also reported in other parts of Palo Alto County.
Also last night, a tornado touched down south of Wesley in Kossuth County. Tornadoes were also reported northwest of Terril in Dickinson County, and northwest of Fairmont along I-90.
