(Estherville)—This is National 4H Week.  Emmet County Extension Youth Coordinator Katelyn Herzberg details the theme for this year’s celebration.

Herzberg says while generally associated with livestock and farming, 4H offers a wide variety of opportunities.

She says Emmet County 4Hers have been celebrating 4H week with a variety of activities.

On Thursday afternoon free ice cream floats were available at the Emmet County Extension Office. Today a farm safety event is being held at the Emmet County Fairgrounds. Herzberg says now is a great time to join Emmet County 4H.
