(Okoboji)--OkoboTree, an endeavor of Spirit of Okoboji, has reached a significant milestone with the completion of its 25th sculpted tree, including six new sculptures added in 2026 alone. This puts the Iowa Great Lakes more than halfway toward becoming the largest community in the United States for sculpted trees. Carrie Meyer. Artistic Director of OkoboTree, says one of the new sculptures is located at Arnolds Park Amusement Park.
The other sculptures are located at private residences in Spirit Lake and Okoboji and at Nektar in Arnolds Park. Meyer says their goal is to surpass the current record of 43 sculpted trees in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Meyer explains how the public can help with the project.
