Iowa State Trooper Says Drivers Adjusting to 60 MPH Speed Limit

(Estherville)--Iowa motorists are adjusting to the new speed limit of 60 mph on two lane highways and county roads. The speed limit was raised from 55 to 60 mph on July 1st. Iowa State Trooper Kevin Krull cautions motorists that the speed limit is still 55 on portions of some highways.

 

 

 

 

Krull says there are parts of some area highways where the speed limit is still 55.

 

 

 

 

He says drivers going dangerously fast remains a problem on Iowa roadways.
