(Okoboji)--Teens, ages 13 to 18, are invited to kick off a new season of WILD Roots with an evening focused on hunting, trapping and conservation-minded skills at the Dickinson County Nature Center. Amy Heibult with Dickinson County Conservation says WILD stands for Wilderness Inspired Leadership Development.

This season’s theme is conservation. Heibult says the first event will be held on Tuesday, September 1st, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

She says more WILD Roots sessions will be held throughout the year,
