(Graettinger)--After a summer of turmoil, officials with the GTRA school districts are gearing up for the 2026-2027 school year. An audit report was released last week on financial discrepancies between the Graettinger-Terril and Ruthven-Ayrshire school districts over the past five years. In July, former Superintendent Marshall Lewis was placed on administrative leave. GTRA Interim Superintendent Jeff Dicks says he’s hoping the districts can now look to the future.
Dicks says he will be updating staff on the financial condition of the two districts.
He says both districts are in tough financial shape at this time.
Dicks made his comments on the GTRA Superintendent Spotlight program which can be heard every Wednesday at 5:45 pm on KILR FM 95.9.
