(Lakefield, MN)--A St. Paul, Minnesota man was killed in a rollover accident earlier this week near Lakefield.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s office, the accident happened shortly before 7:15 pm Wednesday on Jackson County Road 34 near Jackson County Road 9.
Deputies say 62-year-old William Wood of St. Paul was driving a 2026 Outlander westbound on County Road 34 when the vehicle entered the ditch and rolled onto its hood. Wood, the vehicle’s only occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Lakefield Fire Department, Lakefield Ambulance and Minnesota State Patrol assisted at the scene.
